With 32 years of experience in education and training and 25 years in small business, I focus on accounting, financial management, and professional development. I have taught at institutions such as the Bahamian Agriculture and Marine Science Institute, the University of the West Indies, Bahamas Baptist University College, and several other schools. I’ve also done consulting work in accounting and finance. As a freelance trainer, I’ve led sessions on ACCA certification, IFRS compliance, and accounting courses. My business skills include preparing financial statements, budgeting, tax compliance, and data entry, blending technical expertise with a passion for teaching and growth.

My experience was gained from The University of the West Indies, Bahamas Agriculture and Marine Science Institute, Bahamas Baptist University College, Doctors Hospital Training Institute, International Management and Advisory Services, and numerous years of consultancy as a self-employed.

Adrian Sands

Adrian Sands is a 20-year veteran at the Gaming Board of The Bahamas. His career began as Assistant Manager (Finance), followed by Manager of Finance, Senior Director, and currently Assistant Secretary.

An accountant and member of the Bahamas Institute of Chartered Accountants, Adrian obtained his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Benedict College, Columbia, South Carolina, and a Master of Science in Agribusiness from South Carolina State University, Orangeburg. He received his chartered accountant designation from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, London, U.K.
